Mingjiang 2 Lu (闽江二路) is known as Qingdao’s Coffee and Tea Art Street. The short street just north of the Jusco/Sunshine Tower area in Shinan district is home to many coffee shops, restaurants and teahouses, including Cafe Kona, Keer Cafe, and Bossa Nova.
The two way street runs north-south from Zhangzhou 2 Lu to Jiangxi Lu. Coffee Street’s concentration of cafes stretches from Love Fitness Center (in Fan Hai Ming Ren apt/office complex) at the southern end, runs past Kona, Hausbradt et al, crosses Zhangzhou 1 Lu, and carries on north to Double Cafe, Java Cafe, Happy Day Cafe, and Bossa Nova (close to Minjiang Lu intersection).
In keeping with Qingdao’s custom of naming roads after places in China, Minjiang (闽江) 2 Lu is named after a river in Fuzhou, Fujian province.
